Men in the Academy Awards

The Academy Awards this year was hosted by Seth MacFarlane. He was partly good, I must say.  Argo won Best picture, Daniel Day-Lewis won the Best actor in a leading role for Lincoln and Jennifer Lawrence won the best actress in a leading role for Silver Linings Playbook. Those were the highlights last evening. It has been a  great night for artists, directors, writers and producers. But before all those recognition, actors walked the red carpet in their sharp suits and tie. Here are some of the best dressed men in the Academy Awards.

My favourite is Eddie Redmayne’s look last night. The actor killed it. He wore a perfect-fit Alexander McQueen. He also wore a smart-looking Burberry in his number.

Channing Tatum also killed this three-piece trend. That shawl lapel looks good on him. And his haircut made him look a lot younger.

That bow tie on JGL may look a bit bold on him for those slim lapels but still he pulls it off. And that red button or something is clever.

When did you last saw Radcliffe look dragged in suit? Never. That’s right! He killed things again. This time, he’s wearing Prada.

Chris Pine made good use of that made-to-measure Ermenegildo Zegna tux. It’s all about Double-Breasted trend for him last night.

Daniel Day-Lewis is the most sophisticated of all. His Domenico Vacca rig made him looked younger and modern.
